Based off your opinion, what would be a unisex/ masculine (preferably unisex) version of the name, “Hanna?” I think Harley is nice, however, I asked a friend if they thought it was feminine or masculine, and they had responded with, “Feminine definitely.” What’s your thought?
I'd say Harley is a good unisex name. I think its association with masculinity/femininity depends on who you ask - some people may instantly think of Harley-Davidson (more masculine), some may instantly think of Harley Quinn (more feminine), some may think of something else. A quick look through an infant name forum seems to suggest "Harley" is pretty variant - many feel it's masculine, many feel it's feminine, but overall the general consensus seems to be unisex. In terms of a masculine version of "Hanna," I might say "Hansel." There's also Hadley, Harper, and Hayden (which are also unisex). I should think "Harper" would have the same issues as "Harley," however.
Well, I'm a big fan of really out there names so... Hanly Han (pronounced like "hand" without the D sound) Hen (though this is more of a shortening of Henry) Hani
I really like Harley and Harvey seems to be also quite unisex name I think. Hal and Hans are the only ones that came to my mind. And also Harold and Harrison but idk if they sound kinda oldfashioned
I'm not entirely certain, but a few similar sounding names I can think of would be Hanson, Hannibal, Hanniel, Hansel, Hannes, Hansen, etc. It sounds less similar, but I think I like Hayden better.
Harley is a nice name and is definitely unisex. Henley is a nice name. Hunter is a nice name. According to the Internet Honovi is a Native American name meaning strong. It would be kind of unique.
I love Hayden! And if you decide to take a more masculine name, I love the name Harrison. I volunteered for a children's youth group and he was one of my favourite kids. So sweet <3
