Well, that's Sense8 for you. I KNEW they would put that in there...Other than that it was an emotional rollercoaster. I mean, the scenes before the very last scene were incredible.
Loved it! Is it just me, or does almost every episode contains a slow motion dance party that makes you want to go out!
One of the main messages from the show was that the connection that we have with the people around us should be celebrated as often as you can. That to be happy, joyous and even goofy doesn't have to make sense. It was beautiful really. All over the place and not perfect at all, but beautiful. Nomi's vows seemed like a love letter from Wachowskis siblings. “We live in a world that distrusts feelings.Over and over, we are reminded that feelings are not as important as reason. That feelings are childish, irresponsible, dangerous. We are taught to ignore them, control or deny them. . . . But I know that feelings matter" Fuck yeah joy is revolutionary and its a much needed message with everything that is going on in this world. I could go on and on but I don't want to spoil stuff for anyone. Truly a mess of a show, but man I'm so sad that it ended. Beautifully made and one of the best portrayals of a trans woman in media that I have ever seen
I didn't like it that much. It was... unpolished, to put it in some way... some characters were sidelined (Lito, Sun), the whole Kala-Wolfgang-Rajan thing wasn't credible at all, etc.
I agree, It was rushed because Lana had written the script for season 3 but Netflix cancelled it so I guess she threw it all in there the best she could
Yeah, they had a 5 year plan to tell the story so they felt they had to finish it in a 2 hour span. Definitely a hard job to do. Maybe its because I have seen it happen kind of, but I'm so glad they didn't go with the usual love-triangle drama
Oh, right and people are still trying to convince Netflix to change their mind which is...dedication haha I was actually pleasantly surprised because in their 'world' it sort of works and if it works for them it works for them you know? It's easier to go along with due to the circumstances
AH I loved the finale! It really did have my feelings everywhere and it does make me upset that it had to be rushed but I am still thankful for it. Nomi's and Amanita's wedding had me in tears Personally I like the idea of Kala/Wolfgang/Rajan in a poly relationship. I have never seen that be put in a TV series before so it was definitely something new to me. I could go on and on about the finale tbh
