well it's not finished, just need one more session, but I have finally gotten my Transgender Tattoo....... does anyone else have Trans Ink? if you're comfortable, i'd love to see it.
Nice tattoo! I don't have an LGBT related tattoo yet. Still considering if I'd want one and where to have it. If I did get one it'd probably be a small, minimalist trans symbol like this one:
Looks awesome, Sarah And nope, I don’t have any tattoos at all actually. I’m a bit too young, three more months and I’m eighteen though!
I love it, I have a band of dandelions around my upper arm, and I have so many other tattoos planned, though not trans related. I want a stained glass window, some band related stuff, a deer and moon and some crystals, a Japanese style dragon, maybe a few things from TV shows or stuff that I like.... I always thought if I got a trans related tattoo I’d make it symbolic, something cute like a kite and I’d have the ribbons on the kite tail the colors of the nonbinary flag or something like that....
totally by choice, the technique is called water colour. the idea is to make it look like part of my skin.
this is my third tattoo, there are a few more to finish this half sleeve I'm working on. all motivational or LGBTQ+ related. and all rainbow inspired. this is my second;
Watercolor tattoos tend to fade quicker and bleed easier over time than traditional styles because of how washed out they need to look in the first place, and the technique needed to be used to place them in the fat layers to make them appear this way to begin with.
they were supposed to be. it's paint splatters, I wanted realism so I asked for it like this. made my artist's OCD kick into overdrive but he did it.
or were you referring to one of the others? they are all themed as water splatters or paint strokes/splatters. the next one will be tight because it's all script, done in rainbow colours.
