I have three issues with her statement:
#1-Really? Porn causes mass violence? Really?
#2-They still sell porn at the grocery store?
#3-Do teenagers even know that there is magazine rack at the grocery store?

i didn’t read the article. I didn’t know they still made porn in magazine form. Seems a little outdated. I like my porn digital

 

I think what she is actually saying is "Hey everyone I'm a moron"

 

First it was games, now it is porn.......

 

I think it's violent video games.

I do temember the big graphic boxes on the video store. Those were sort of embarrassing. I’d try to wedge ass blasters part 6 in between Rambo and the never ending story, but someone would always see

 

(This isn't on the subject of religious killings or random mass shootings. this is more about school shootings since I believe that is what you where implying or thinking about) I kind of disagree, I think its more centered around bullying(from someone who has been bullied before) and kids wanting to take they're frustrations out on the bullies and generally people who are incredibly mean to them on a regular basis. If it was because of violent gaming, school shootings would be happening in huge amounts all over the world.

 

Well there has been quite a lot of school shooting in recent years. Although I will say that there are some kids who are killing because they are bullied or rejection.

 

That is true for sure. But if everyone who plays violent video games religiously(Especially with the whole Fortnight trend right now) below the age of 18 was shooting up schools we would have a MUCH bigger problem on our hands.

 

Yes we would. I don't think everyone who plays violent video games religiously is doomed or bound to shoot up a school. However when I have read about kids committing violent crimes I have seen a fair share of kids who's influence was from that.

 

Goodness gracious, this whole school shooting thing has been so stressful. It’s honestly a mix of all different reasons that the shootings start— even though people may think it can be limited to a core reason.
Bullying and issues with students inside of schools plays a major role on their influence to carry out school shootings, as well as influence from violent video games (can you believe that a company was trying to release a school shooter simulator? i mean, seriously, why?), problems at home, and many other things.
Porn just doesn’t— what? Where could you get that idea? Maybe one out of the many school shootings was influenced by porn, but that’s not what we should be worried about.
I feel like no one is taking this seriously. There have been countless threats at my own school and a city right by me had a school shooting. Ugh!
