What are your thoughts of gay people who absolutely hate straight people?

No, I think that any kind of phobia is dangerous and represents an extreme position that does not fit well with me. Besides which, people are fighting all of their lives within the LGBTQ community to be accepted within society, and therefore to hate straight people is another form of intolerance that is no better than straight people hating gay people. Such forms of hate need to be eradicated from our society in my humble opinion.

 

No. For what reason? No need to meet or having date, if hatred is there. No sense at all. Better date a person who are understanding and accept what you are. Dont meet those people who are cheaters.

 

No, I think hating someone because of their sexuality (whether they hate people who are gay, straight, bi, etc) is just ridiculous. It's no reason to hate someone. Like, you can hate someone who is straight and a homophobe or rude or whatever, but the reason is because they're a jerk, not because they're straight.

 

No, because I ain't gonna date a man who hates gay/bi people then I ain't gonna date a woman who hates straight/bi people.

I mean, someone who hates bi people ain't gonna wanna date me so they've ruled out me dating them themselves.

I don't think they're any different from straight people who hate gay people. Hating someone based on their sexuality is wrong, regardless of what it is.

 

Heck no! My husband is straight! I don’t have room for any type of that kind of negative energy in my life.

 

I can't imagine inviting that much hatred into my life--I mean hating the vast majority of people, that's got to warp a person. Luckily I don't think I've ever met such a person.

 

This reminds me of an argument I was having the other day with a non-binary friend who hates cisgender people.

I think its extremely hypocritical.

I did not want to specifically mention any political figures due to our American cousins running this site...but fuck yeah!

 

I wouldn't even want to associate with any LGBT members who hate straight people, they accomplish absolutely nothing when it comes to helping equality and would only hurt multiple other relationships I have.

I think it's plain ridiculous and I don't get it. I'm bi, but I don't have a problem with people being either fully straight or fully gay. I somewhat understand why some straight people hate gay/bi people, but I don't get why some gay/bi people hate straight people.

 

Of course I would never date anyone who hates straight people. I would also never date any girl who openly hates and bashes LGBT people.

 

I didn't know this was a thing, but hate is hate. And hate takes up way to much time and energy and its extremely negative so I wouldn't want to deal with that. And how would a person function in society, the entire population is almost completely straight, thats alot of people to hate.
