hey hey hey it's ya boi comin at you live. my personality can be described with an actual breathing meme.
In all seriousness, I was doing my nightly prowl around the interwebs for another "am I gay???" test when I stumbled across these forums. My friends and family are super supportive of me, but it would be nice to have some actual LGBT people to compare experiences with and talk to for once.
I don't know if this is a Relatable Experience to anyone but me currently, but I had sort of an existential crisis driving with my family. My mom and dad were joking it up with my 10 y/o sister about her "boyfriend" (aka one of her guy friends that she texts c o n s t a n t l y). and all of a sudden I was just hit with this wave of loneliness and... loss. just a small town gay in a car full of straight people. It's hard to describe, but realizing my parents will probably never feel the same comfort teasing me in the same way about my crushes just made me feel like I was another species for a hot second. I'm good now after listening to kesha's Praying and Mr. Sandman on repeat for several hours, but I'm still curious if anyone has had a similar experience.
I didn't mean to go on a rant for a minute there but look where we are now. remember to like and sub

Hi and welcome. It was several months after I told my parents I was bi before they started teasing me or joking around. Actually it took my mom longer than my dad. It could be that they think its funner or cuter to tease your sister since she's younger and they think you're too old. Or perhaps they think you'd get mad.

    Welcome!
I think a lot of LGBTQ people have felt what you described.

Hi! I definitely can relate to that. Just today I was with my friends and they were listing off all the people they had dated or down stuff with and I suddenly just felt so separate and lonely because my options are so limited and the thought of telling someone that I like them scares me cause I’m just so worried that they’ll be disgusted by it or even just awkward. You seem like a very funny person and I hope you’re doing well. Music is always a wonderful mechanism for feeling better. Nice to meet you.
