I wish I listened to more classical music. I went to an Itzhak Perlman concert once, that was really cool. There's so much awesome classical music out there. Some of my favorite songs have a strong classical influence, like the band Muse actually uses a melody from Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto 1st Movement in one of their songs, and although they're a rock band, the main guy behind the band, Matt Bellamy, actually composed this three movement piece with a full orchestra. I don't really what my favorite music genre is. If I had to go overall, I would say rock, but I'm in to so many different types of artists that are technically all types of rock. Like punk rock, and grunge rock, and post-punk, and alternative, and classical, and like experimental and psychedelic stuff, and well as like some heavier metal and post-hardcore. I'm also in to a lot of indie music, and jazz. Lately I've been listening to a lot of lo-fi hip-hop kind of stuff, which some people kind of mock because it got so popular and its relatively easy to make, but I really like it for studying
man i listen to everything from classical music / instrumental movie scores to lofi hip hop, indie rock, emo, folk rock, classic rock, post punk, gothic, and indie pop can't really pick a single genre because i like so many bands from all across the board and time periods :,)
Mainly electronic, metal, rock. But I listen to almost anything, except for rap music. Depends on my mood.
Kpop ( i love the look on my friends faces when i start listening and they have no clue what it means)
On my own time I mostly like to listen to rock and metal but as a dancer I pretty much have to be able to enjoy most types of music. (I probably wouldn't like classical music as much as I do if not for ballet and lyrical and I doubt I would listen to any pop - old or new if I didn't do jazz, and we're using an old hip hop song for tap this year and I like it now because the dance is super cheesy and fun so there's that too). I'm not always a fan of newer pop songs or modern songs in general but I can probably still find a few that I like in my dance classes.
