What was the BEST someone has ever told you? How did it make you feel in that moment? And then reply to the person above you and say something nice
Not sure it's the best but it could be the strangest "you walk really fast for a person with small feet" 12 is a sweetie! Ps what are quesadillas?
Probably, "I'm proud of you" or "you have a really clean (swimming) stroke" more recently. It makes me feel reassured when I'm being hyper critical of myself. And a quesadilla is a type of Mexican food which is also popular in The United States. It is a tortilla fried with cheese and meat or veggies inside and typically served with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole on the side.
In English, we had a slam poetry workshop that was compulsory to go to for certain students (including me) and the teacher/ lecturer we had, she tours the country partaking in slam poetry competitions. She's also a talent scout, searching for young potential poets. At first, I worked in a pair with someone and we made a poem together- the teacher was impressed and she came up to us once everybody had read out their poems and told us that we both had potential and asked us if we had considered careers in the writing industry at all. I was uncomfortable about reading out some of the poems I wrote afterwards when we were asked to work separately, but overtime I got over it and started to read out some of my poems when asked. She said to me that she could get me a career in publishing if I wanted to do something more behind the scenes. We were all offered a place to apply to compete in a slam poetry competition, but I was ill that day so I didn't go. That was the first time anyone has ever told me they think I might have a possible career in something. Personally, I don't think I'll ever be a publisher as it isn't a goal of mine to be one but I just thought it was nice that she said what she did.
Hmm... hard to say... my friend once told me that I was the wisest and smartest person he had ever met. I was going to put a cringe worthy space pun from my ex-boyfriend but I decided not to xD As for a complement to the person above me, England is great! I went to London a few years ago and everyone is so hospitable and kind!
This was back in 8th grade Me: but well I guess I'm weird My Art Teacher: Well it's a good thing to be weird I was feeling insecure about myself so yea I felt special for being different
It was when I was on the elementary school. The smartest girl of our class said I´m a genius when it comes to writing stories. She never said anything like this to anyone. And since I considered her better than me I felt really flattered.
same. recently I keep hearing it quite often. also, someone I like said I'm awesome, which means a lot to me.
okay but the best of the best things I’ve ever heard from others was someone calling me "lil green boi". I just found it incredibly cute <3 and of course being compared to one of my favourite musicians ever. he's fkn handsome, so I must be, too
The other day someone told me I was 40 years old. I said thank you. Then told them my real age, 64. Get that occasionally. Being told I look younger than my actual age. Always get a kick out of this when it happens.
My best moment is when a guy who I love say: "I love you and when you can be with me?" I really sad but happy he loves me and he has a dream to life with me.
oH I have a list but from what I remember recently, my art teacher complimented my drawing saying "this looks so fun!" she's the best. Second one was when my friend gave me the nickname "mango" when I was 12 and it's stuck since then. It was a new school in a different country and it made me feel more comfortable with the place. Third one was probably my mom saying that "non-binary people are super cool" I'm not out to her and the subject was newly-introduced to her so it's one step closer to happiness. Last one wasn't directed towards me specifically, but a singer I really love said that trans and lgbtq+ people are awesome and that made me happy. I'm sorry to hear that, Silas. I know you'll find love
It was from my best guy friend: “I love you Nate, and don’t ever forget that. I’ll always be there for you.” It was really the best thing ever.
I told them about myself including that I have a disability and they said you are awesome never change.
