I like some chick flicks, and I like listening to music like Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift, etc. I am also a huge fan of the song "Barbie Girl" by Aqua. And I am very open about liking that stuff. I talk about girls a lot so I doubt many people think I'm gay (if any). But do you think anybody already suspects me of being bisexual?
One time someone asked me if I liked guys and another time someone tried to start a rumor that I was gay.
I would also like to add that just because someone likes these things does not mean that they are LGBT that is just a stereotype.
People think all sorts of things. You are who you are. What others think or say will be speculation and assessment and assertion. It doesn't really matter what they think or say.
My very straight brother read my teen girl magazines and willingly bought a pair of lilac skinny jeans and no one besides me ever thought he could be bisexual ( he's had loads of girlfriends). I love superhero movies and t.v shows my dress sense appals my fashion concious sister and I've never had a boyfriend. But I still love Ed Sheeran and romance movies and was really rooting for Elena and Damon in the Vampire Diaries. However my mother was beyond shocked when I came out to her aged 19. My sister who actually had a brain said tell me something I don't know. What you like or don't like won't make people wonder at your sexuality. A femme lesbian likes all the stereotypical girly stuff and still likes girls.
I think that if you are asking this question and bring up all these things then someone might think that you are neither a Kinsey 0 nor a Kinsey 6. Does it matter? So many shades of gray. Like what you like and be attracted to who you like. If you do what you like and are honest with yourself, that's authentic enough for me.
