    Thanks signmypapyrus.
If Myers Briggs is pseudo science, so what is the true science to know people personality? I little bit curious about personality and I would learn it.
Do you know the map of people personality including people competency?

I think that’s what scientists are trying to find out. I’m not a psychologist, my own research is primarily in neurobiology, but we’re not concrete, stagnant individuals. Our brains aren’t either, so therefore, our personalities aren’t. I mean, neurologists just discovered mirror neurons in 1996, which are foundational to understanding how we coexist with others and process information. I don’t think there is an exact science to understanding personality, not to say there isn’t a science (there are lots of debates about psychology as a field, by the way, though it deserves respect). It’s just that when studying personality, one must take it with a grain of salt. I have friends who take the Meyers Briggs test and believe it like some religion, as though it defines who they are. There are lots of psychoanalysts out there who speculate about how we process information based off archetypes, so it’s fun, but it’s important to realize you’re more than a set of questions. So much plays into it including background, culture, genetics, trauma, etc.
One way to think about the tests is: are we self aware enough to answer questions objectively about ourselves? That goes for any personality test.

I'm ISTJ - The difference is that as an "N" you are more of an intuitive thinker and as an "S" I'm more concrete and realistic.

I’ve taken over 10 different MBTI tests and I get ENFP every time. I don’t relate 100%, but I relate with the ENFP description more than any other type. So I did some digging and learned that there’s another personality test known as the enneagram test. I scored as a 2w3. So I searched “ENFP 2w3” and it described me perfectly. It’s actually a bit creepy how well it knows me. :eyes:

Thank you sign, it makes sense that you explain from another perspective. Also, you said that Myers Briggs is not the one measurement of personality. I can understand if you have experience from your work field.

Thank you Beib SiennaFire for sharing your Myers Briggs personality.

Wow, putting yourself into a box of defined personality based on your answers to questions just sounds soooooo neat and tidy.
    Gay Test
    "Are you Gay?"
If you answered yes, you are gay...

For me it's never been about the color of their skin or the size of their d*** but their nature and ability towards the hunt.

Big five test and enneagram was more accurate for me than MBTI.

I am also an INTJ, having taken the Meyers Briggs a few times. I think it's a pretty decent way to get a general picture of what I would call a temperament profile rather than one's personality, which unlike temperament is probably shaped more by experience and ways you choose to express yourself. I see the temperament characteristics as more in-born preferences.

So my understanding of INTJs is that they are driven to understand and implement systems and designs, that they are independent in their thinking style, self-confident, have a low-key leadership style, are generally unimpressed by the usual signifiers of authority (e.g., job titles, celebrity, self-appointed experts and gay know-it-alls--sorry, couldn't resist that one), and strongly prefer the inuitive style which is marked by understanding the world through internal cues rather than external cues (which for Meyers-Briggs is called "sensing"). The intuitive vs. sensing trait that causes the greatest difference between people. I believe Meyers-Briggs is based on Carl Jung's and even older (classical Greek) temperment theories.

I'm wondering if MBTI changes after coming out? I haven't taken the MBTI since coming out, though I'm probably both more and less Sensing after coming out. I'm far more grounded and in touch with reality yet I"m also listening more to my internal voice.

I would suspect it often does. When I was younger I scored as INTP, but now I consistently score ENFJ. I guess I'm consistently N and that's about it...

ISTJ, and there are quite a few on EC. That's from having seen the poll various times. About 1 out of every 8 people is this type, so it's fairly common. Remember that each one of the four elements slides along a scale. You can be very low and almost close to 0 on one factor and then be close to 100 on another. I'm almost an INTJ.

I’m INFJ. I know other guy who is INFJ too. The thing is we’re so different in some ways. I guess the test is just focus on a few aspects.
