    Hi,

    As most of you who've been around might remember, I've been applying to jobs in NYC for a while now, but especially after the hurricane that hit my home in sept. I hadn't had much luck for months, but that's all pretty much changed in the last month.

    Well, tomorrow I fly out for 2 in-person interviews!! I can't believe I'm finally meeting potential employers face-to-face. It really feels like things are finally starting to happen and I've got this nervous/excited buzz and I'm so happy I wanna cry.

    I really hope at least one of them offers me a job. Ideal scenario would be to have them both give me offers so I have choices.

    I'm going to stay with my cousin who is bi and we're meeting up with my lesbian cousin and her gf to go out Friday night. I want to ask them tips on the best areas to live in/places to go/etc.

    Anyways, I just wanted to share. Please pray/light candles/meditate/send good vibes my way!

    Thank you all so much for the support. Now it’s time for the waiting game. I have calls with both HR teams this week and I HOPE I’ll have offers from both of them this week!! Gosh just being in NYC was so nice. I really can see myself enjoying life there and being myself.

    In one of the interviews, I laughed SO hard with the panel. Such cool people and Im sure they’d be really accepting of me as a person. Hoping I’ll work there.
