    It was never written as a gay song per se but listen to John Fogerty‘s Centerfield. I love the imagery of this song about baseball and masculine beauty.

    A lot of songs by The Smiths and Morrissey (the lead singer) have gay themes. Also check out Rufus Wainwright (especially his first album), some Pet Shop Boys songs like 'Go West' and 'The Night I Fell In Love', and Boy George (especially his albums from 1995 and onward). :slight_smile:

    "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman. While it is not an LGBT song, it is an anthem for outcasts like those of us in the LGBT community. It's an empowering song that says we should ignore the haters and embrace who we are.

    Annabel by Goldfrapp--A slow electronic song, the kind that could be described as "hauntingly beautiful" about a boy who dreams of being a girl. Lyrics go "When you dream, you only dream, you're Annabel."

    Not sure if this has been mentioned but The Irrepressibles are a British band where the lead singer is gay and many of the songs are written from a gay male perspective. He has a great voice too! Two Men in Love is one of my favorite songs. And Metro Station's She likes Girls is one of the most catchy lesbian songs I've ever heard.
