Ok, Big Victory for little me........

I went to the government office yesterday and applied for, official Name Change, Change of Gender Marker, and new Birth Certificate. i'll take about a week, and they'll send the docs in the mail to me, but by next weekend, ______ will cease to legally exist, and Sarah-Dena will be my legal name with F as my gender marker. so excited, and so scared, so happy....... OMG, Stuff is getting Real.

First time at electrolysis. AMAB, and I have no need or intention to change my gender marker, but getting hair zapped is fun!

I'm planning on doing that soon. I've always hated my facial hair. How much does it hurt, out of curiosity?

The feeling was somewhere between a mosquito bite and getting snapped with a rubber band. Different people experience it differently. It may depend on your skin type as well as pain threshold.

I had laser this time. I'm salt and pepper, so the tech started with laser on the dark hairs. I was on the fence about having completely clean cheeks, so she suggested doing the dark hairs now and then doing electrolysis on the lighter hairs when I come back. Good call on her part, I'm hooked.

Things are going really well with the guy I've been seeing. I told him I was trans and he's cool with it.

I figured I would post an update to my last post on here:
    1) The other friend I asked said yes to using they/them pronouns.
    2) I came out to a new friend about being bigender, and they took it well.
It is really great to feel like others see you for who you really are even if you still look like your gender assigned at birth on the outside.

Today I talked with one of my friends (who I'm out to) about about types of guys I like.. for the 1st time ever.. I'm out to a couple of friends but I never said any details regarding my sexual orientation. It was always like, "okay you know I'm gay and that's it". This talk today gave me plenty of courage. I think I'm finally more comfortable talking about this kind of topic...

I’ve started using my adjustable pronoun necklace again. Only in safe spaces (currently home and one of my outside activities) but I have it under my work shirt during the day as well. I’m varying it between “they” and “she” and it seems to be breaking a lot of emotional and psychological locks. Only a week and a half in and my inner girl or girl side has been making more breakout attempts. At my outside activity I’m starting to ask my friends to use a name that’s less easily gendered as masculine, and to use they/them pronouns unless marked otherwise on my necklace.

my son recorded me for a project in university last night, and we listened to the playback and my voice is a lot lighter and higher than when his girlfriend interviewed me for a journalism piece last march. still a guy voice but definitely a lot more fem. need to get it lighter and higher and work on a feminine intonation but yeah baby, getting there.

so, I booked my next tattoo with my artist yesterday and we were discussing the half sleeve we're working on. and I came out to him so we could discuss the other tattoos I have planned, so that this one wont interfere with what I have planned for the rest of my forearm. so that's my victory, im out to another friend, he's very supportive and we are planning this art together.

For not being on T, I can count 11 dark facial hairs on my left cheek, 5 on my right, and a decent amount on my upper lip and chin.
By the time I’m 50, maybe I’ll have a full beard.
