What is the glitchiest/most broken game you've played as for me it would be "True Crime Streets Of LA" (PS2 version, I have no idea what the Xbox and PC versions are like) as in that game it is extremely easy to screw up the physics as well as clipping through the walls and the world.

I've probably played more glitchy games than this and can't remember them now but Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)

Probably mc2d. It was a small project my brother made for my birthday, and it had all sorts of glitches. Why is the air cracked? Because you attacked a sheep, and it moved. Did you just mine up the thing that controls movement? Why is there a pillar of floating grass at the edge of the world? How are you flying? Why did MegaZuex crash?

It might have been a bit too ambitious for a kid to make on his own, in a few days.

Oh man, The Sims is probably the glitchiest (and laggiest) game I’ve ever played, and TS3 had some creepy glitches...especially if you used mods or cc.

    Observe:

That’s technically TS4, but still...the whole Sims series is glitchy as hell. Haven’t played that game in a loooong time though, tbh I got bored with it.

I totally agree! TS3 and TS4 get glitchy quite easily, specially if you use cheat codes. I remember back when TS4 was released the game was so broken that a lot of people couldn't even play (me included lol), there were a lot of bugs that could destroy your saves and make the game unplayable...

Dang, sounds crazy! I feel like EA is notorious for putting out games that seem glitchy or incomplete :/
I didn’t ever buy or play TS4, to be honest. It looks neat though...one day I’ll check it out, but I’m pretty deep into LOZ Breath of the Wild right now, so I’m pretty preoccupied haha.

I've played a lot of glitchy indie games, and with those, I kinda feel like it's a bit excited. The glitchiest major title that I've played are the Assassin's Creed games. I have been stuck inside rocks, trees, horses, other people so often, and on one memorable occasion the save files for AC3 disappeared from my computer. Literally disappeared. I looked through every goddamned folder and they were gone. I had 50% completion. Normally those kinds of glitches annoy me, but I still play AC all the time; they're surprisingly fun games.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

It's a decade old but I still play it sometimes. I swear it's like walking through a minefield at all times playing it... a single misstep, doing anything too fast, or even talking to certain NPC's or holding certain items will cause the game to crash and glitch instantly.

It's to the point where I have actually memorized exactly which path I need to take in every area of the game to avoid stepping on one of the many tiles that causes a crash (yeah, I've played it wayyyy too many times).

It also freezes my movement after every single fight for some odd reason. So I have to save the game, then load the saved profile after every fight just to be able to walk again. It added a whole new layer of strategy to fights too, since I have to just stand there without moving the whole time and still survive somehow.

Despite all that, it's still fun and one of my favorite games.

I remember the first time I tried to put KOTOR on a computer that was running Windows 10. It took approximately an hour to configure it because it was made for Windows XP. Regardless, I struggle through anyway because I love the game so much. I would love to see another Star Wars single player RPG at some point.

There was a Spongebob game I played on the Wii (Creature From The Krusty Krab?) where I couldn't get past the first level because the controls were so broken.

I also played South Park: The Fractured But Whole recently and holy shit, the amount of audio glitches put me off so much.

Dragon Age: Inquisition for me, but it says something that I still have 400+ hours on that game. I love it so much.

Dead by Daylight. Especially in the Beta and early Aplha. Still broken though. Getting fat shamed my trees and glitching into walls is no fun. Ton of hours anyway

An RPG where some quests may never be completed because the developers didn't bother to finish it properly. Or a random NPC may die simply from spawning 500 ft up in the air and falling to their death after I exit a building. Still enjoy it though!

Anything that ran on Cider (a Windows-on-Mac compatibility library which supposedly allowed Windows games to run pretty much unmodified on macOS.)

The Sims 3 on the Mac, for example. I couldn't even get it to run at all.

Sonic the Hedgehog/Sonic 06. Waste of time :/ the game was so unfinished and rushed and lazy. Come on, Sonic Team. It's impossible to play, really.
