Someone probably already said it but Blue is the Warmest Color. The acting was pretty good, it felt like a very realistic portrayal of a young person coming to terms with their sexuality, and Adele was pretty hot. She's actually pregnant now! She looked pretty far along in the picture that the article included from March, I bet she has given birth by now. I can't find anything on it, though.

G.B.F. was surprisingly good! It's deeper than I expected.

I found this movie on Netflix, "Jenny's Wedding" starring Katherine Heigl and Alexis Bledel. Super funny and realistic!

A very underrated one that falls near the top of my list is a film called 'Closet Monster'. It's very creative and unique. I love it!

Haven't seen anyone talk about it so I'd recommend 'The Way He Looks' which is a Brazilian film about a blind boy, I thought it was very cute and the cinematography was amazing (there's a dream scene which I think is so imaginative)

The movie Fingersmith is good also, just longer than usual though. The korean version of that is The Handmaiden which is more sexual i think compared to the english one.

I've seen The Way He Looks? It's a gay Brazilian film....very touching, slightly angst with a very happy ending (but no cliches) Check it out.

This one I just saw last night, Baka Bukas (Maybe Tomorrow), a Filipino lesbian movie about bestfriends that fell in love with each other.

I've seen a ton of LGBT movies, but as usual only few were actually pleasing and realistic. My top favorite LGBT movies ranked are 1. Boys Don't Cry 2. The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love 3. Pariah. These are my top 3 favorites, because they're packed with emotions, they're realistic, and they tell a great story. Honestly I didn't care that much for Carol, and I did like Freeheld, but I didn't like that as usual someone is sick/dying/dies, and I wanted more than what it offered. It was okay though.

Speaking of movies, has anyone had the chance to watch My Days of Mercy? I read about it forever ago and I'm thinking it was released in like September at select theaters maybe or just a film festival, but of course it didn't play anywhere near me. And the last time I checked I couldn't find a release date for viewer purchase. From what I've read and the preview I watched it seemed interesting, and possibly has a better ending than most lgbt movies. I didn't read to into it however, I'd like to view it before I read the entire plot/outcome.

I really want to see Cat Skin. I don't like the title but the movie itself looks interesting.

Hello all! My first time on this thread.
Love, Simon is being released in mid-March. About a closeted gay teen and his journey with his sexuality. I can really relate to that on a deeper level, so this will be the first movie in years that I really want to see. A huge upgrade over the usual action movie nonsense that I am always dragged to see.
