Christmas exams start Monday next week for me and I'm honestly kind of scared. I'm one of those people that always start studying at the last minute and I'm trying to change, but what I want to ask you guys is how do you relieve stress? It doesn't matter if it's from school, work or anything else.
Last year I ended up getting colitis out of stress and since then I try not to worry as much about stuff, I don't really know how I changed my mentality. I want to know about ye, are you one of those that stress too much or are you always chill?

When I was at uni I'd start washing my clothes by hand almost on a daily basis. I also spent a few hours every day cooking a nice meal for me; two hours didn't make a huge difference in my studies but in terms of well-being they were definitely worth it.

Nowadays, I start going to the gym almost daily. I take out all of my frustrations and anger on the machines and weights. Helps a lot and I feel tired afterwards so I fall asleep like a rock.

I usually watch random movies or documentaries. I also listen to music. I used to exercise, but I don't have access to a gym anymore. I also don't have the time to exercise because I'm usually always working.

I read or watch Netflix when I'm stressed out in college but once to save my mental health I just didn't do an assignment and my stress just melted away when I decided not to do it. It was stressing me out so much I was crying my eyes out in my room and it just wasn't worth it. When I'm at home my dog is a pretty good stress reliever. Apparently petting a dog can reduce stress. Which is the reason why my college had a dog rescue have a puppy room in my college near the exams. There only there for one day but cuddling a tiny dog really relieved my stress.

I keep a journal and when I am stressed I just spill all my rage, fear, hurt etc. into it. Not only does it relieve tension, but writing it down can also help you identify the things that stress you and help you to find ways of avoiding them or lessening them in the future.

Best of luck with your exams. I am a very easily stressed person and looking back to my school days I wish I had stressed far less about exams. It wasn't worth the upset. Just do your best, it's all you can do!

I also do the same, I don't honestly study I just simply scan my notes.
It depends on the level of stress that I have to endure. I usually listen to music, watch a movie, eat something sweet, talk, and play video games. There are times wherein I will just sleep.

I sing karaoke, sometimes drag my family members to join me, maybe dance around a bit to sweat out the tension and google all the toxic thoughts that is nagging me in incognito mood and channel it outward. Weird, but it worked for me.
(edit: may be listen to some nightcore, something upbeat)

I usually read, listen to music, clean (it's very theraputic for me and I love the sense of accomplishment I get when I manage to clean up the whole house) and sometimes I'll masturbate (it actualy does work!) if I'm alone. If things get to be too much and I can't use my other outlets I will write things down as well

This is a great question. I like to relieve stress and anxiety (I happen to struggle with anxiety from time to time) by using distraction techniques, such as listening to music, talking to others, chatting on the internet, using Internet forums, watching entertaining content on TV, watching YouTube videos, writing, napping, sifting the web, and doing physical activity (occasionally).
