    Hi.

I know it's a mega painful subject. But I've been looking for years, and it really does feel like it's just me that's been disowned by my whole family.

I've posted about it before but noone replied. I know it's hard, so can we just do a "yes" reply if anyone has been disowned by any family? Please.

Just so we know we are not alone.

    Love love

It has happened to a friend of mine, so I can certainly say that you are not alone.

He’s Filipino, and his family is very religious. When he came out, he was threatened and disowned by his whole family.

For a short while, he lived with a gay couple whom he knew prior to coming out (thankfully he had a backup plan). He’s now in living in Toronto, but I can’t recall what he’s doing for school.

I have major respect for people who come out of a scary situation like that and still continue to live their lives.
