I never grasped or understood really what different genders exactly are. What would they feel or want.. I still wish for them to be happy and that this goes well for everyone.

I feel like ID should indicate the sex a person is (or has transitioned to), not the gender. Passports and driver's licenses aren't facebook nor dating profiles. Also, this will complicate life for nonbinary people who want to go literally anywhere that doesn't recognize the third gender (legal forms, requests, applications - it's gonna be a mess).

If your ID is what validates you, it's pretty sad.

What do you mean? Passports and Drivers licenses have everything to do with identification, which is what this is. Much different, than say, doctor's forms that need your sex to diagnose you correctly. Also, I know I and many of my friends would be willing to go through said paperwork for this.

I hope other states start this. It'd be nice to see my next driver's license with my gender on it.
