So here is the question: What is love? Don’t you think such a short question is so confusing and unexplainable or is it just me...? Also why do people use it too often now?
Initial phase: chemical induced haze of powerful emotion where the person is the only thing you want, need and crave. It's lustful, it's passionate, it's consuming. Later, after the chemicals subside: This is true love. it's a meaningful emotion that isn't driven by chemicals but by mutual respect, trust, and a deep desire to share your life with them, to experience the world with them and share every exciting moment, to grow old with them. It's where their happiness is intrinsically tied with your own and where you can't imagine your life without them in it.
What is love, well love can be many things including who you ask, just don't ask what love is to Hk-47. (Free cookie to who gets the reference). To me love is too many things but I believe that love is a feeling that two people can get and feel like they cannot live without each other. Love can be a feeling where you feel so happy doing something such as a hobby and you say that "I love Warhammer Fantasy Battles, it's so fun to play." "Love is greedy, Love is needy, there can be no love without Jealousy," another reference(you get another cookie here).
Can anyone answer why do people use it the wrong way well actually this is my opinion but I hate it when someone asks how do I tell my friend I love them... but it’s you have a crush or fancy them not love them. Does anyone else get what I mean...? And I don’t care Justinian20 if the questions to simple I said it was a question not a reference to terrible songs.
Love comes in many forms. Love for family, love for friends, love for a lover. They all have different characteristics but are all just as meaningful. Culture also plays a role. In some cultures it's much mor common to use the word love in place of what many in the US and Australia etc call 'like'. <=== This has caused me much confusion in the past
I wasn't quoting songss I was quoting a Video game and a certain animated TV show. I did actually answer the question as well, I said it can be used in many ways and doesn't have a singular meaning. Love can mean you really like something, love can also mean that you feel a powerful emotional and romantic connection to someone. Describing the feeling of love is quite hard and ever heard of the saying "It's too hard to describe what it feels like to be in love." That saying definitely refers to romantic connection between two people. I know I sound a little robotic but to really describe love. It is burning desire coupled with giggles and smiles as you look at each other, it is being embarrassed as your partner gets up and does something super awkward, it is joining in with your partner doing those awkward things. It is sitting there secretly thinking, "That's why they are my partner," It is sensual eroticism, it is the smile you get from meeting a person that has the same interest as you and is just as passionate about it, it is the feeling you get listening to smooth jazz tunes and dancing slowly with the person that you want to be with. It is looking at someone and wondering if you'll ever be the one for that person. I know that sounds like a cheesy romcom answer but it is the only way I can describe love without a mechanical answer.
Love is a chemical reaction in the brain Scripture is the second thing that comes to mind. Won't bore you with the stuff that was drilled into my skull One of the more interesting things I've read about love is this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_wheel_theory_of_love There is even a silly internet test based on love styles: https://las.blogspot.co.uk/
