Is it normal to be annoyed by the way someone speaks? I know that they're unsure of themselves and don't really seem to how to communicate with ease, I really do try to be patient with them and understand it's not on purpose. Yet I find myself dreading having to speak with them and wanting them to "cut the act" whenever they talk so dramatically. Is it even an act? Is this how they genuinely speak with everyone?? It's like they're reading lines from a script that they only half way memorized and cannot express the emotion in them without over exaggerating to the point where it's overdone just like drama class all over again!
Ugh, I'm so over it :disappointed:

If someone held a gun to my head and said "clean your room or I'll shoot you," I might end up dead

If there will ever be a time that Rihanna’s “What Now” song wont feel like it was written specifically for me.

Sounds exciting, hopefully it'll go well!

Well, I just got a merit for my first module at University...which is alright I suppose. I should probably go print out some of my work now, don't want to get behind on schedule!

So apparently I'm going to be an uncle. My brother's going to be a father.

The problem is he's only 18. And has no job at the moment.

At least it's not with the crazy psycho bitch (hate to say it, but she was) he was infatuated with for two years. The girl he's with now seems a nice girl, someone who's focused on still making something of her life. Still, that's a weird-ass thought. This whole time my mother's like "One of you is going to give me grandbabies", while talking to my sisters, who have been with their respective boyfriends for a long time, and to a lesser extent, to me, claiming how she wants a "genius grandbaby" despite the fact that I'm asexual and have absolutely NO INTEREST in any kind of relationship, and then this happens out of freaking nowhere.

Maybe now she'll stop asking me or my sisters when it's going to happen, because I'd rather do a nosedive off of a cliff than ever have a kid. You're getting your grandbaby, who you will inevitably spoil to within an inch of his/her life. Happy now?

I will never understand how grandchildren are the opiate of the masses when it comes to parents and how they ignore the circumstances. My aunt was on cloud nine when my heroin-addicted cousin got pregnant 8 years ago (which ended in a stillbirth because of her drug use). If I’d been straight and gotten someone pregnant at 18, I’d bet that my dad would be furious and my mom would be elated.

Don't get me wrong; my mom is still less-than-impressed with him, but there's a part of her that is still excited about it. It's kind of weird.

The way I always thought of the appeal of grandchildren is this: children are cute, but after raising us for however many years our parents look forward to children that they can spoil and share nothing but good times with, while we new parents get to take them home and deal with the unpleasant parts our parents no longer have to put up with.

Time to read my history text and fall asleep. Yay!

I was very worried that I had breast cancer, but I had my tests today and they came out all clear!! I was really starting to stress over it, I'm so relieved that it's ok. Now just need to figure out what's causing the discomfort.

I ripped my pants at work tonight, not even an hour into my shift. Right in the worst possible spot, of course.

Good thing I brought a jacket I could tie around my waist. Still, that was a LONG eight hours.

I'm normally in the "annoyed by Christmas stuff at the beginning of November" camp, with one exception: just had my first glass of egg nog of the season and I'm sooooo happy!!!!

Didn't have rum but I mixed in some sherry. Of course being in Kentucky my favorite thing to mix in egg nog is bourbon
