Meh. Maybe with an absolutely spectacular abs and ass. And I mean really, really spectacular. Boxer briefs are really what I like when it comes to underwear, both in wearing and in seen on others.
Never saw any in real life, but they're not something I would wear. Possibly, if they have a nice backside I don't see a reason why not.

Mostly no. There's a chance they could be sexy on some guys, but I think they're best not worn. I think it's sexier for a guy to wear women's-style lingerie that rides up the butt a bit.
Same on the boxer briefs. For some reason men just look great in them to me. I personally never cared for thongs on men. Whenever I think of a thong I usually picture a woman wearing them; likely the result of heteronormaitve media showing bikini clad women whenever possible.
I'm actually not a fan of them on women either. There's just something about the whole "day-old sweaty butt-floss" thing that I can't get past.
