My community college art instructor. He was a cool old hippie who would help anyone who showed genuine interest in art and was supportive in whatever artistic style you preferred to work in. It was a wonderful contrast to some instructors who would foist their particular views and opinions of art on their students.
Personally, I've never had a consistent role model and if you asked before recently I probably would've given an offhanded answer if any at all, but the recent documentary on Netflix reignited the fire in my veins, so absolutely and definitely Sylvia Rivera and Marsha P. Johnson. I can't owe them enough for what they've done and when it comes to how I treat others and if I'm ever afraid to be myself, I always try to keep them in mind. Geez, this is probably too serious of an answer!
