Anyone else dislike hugs?

    I used to be very uncomfortable when people hugged me, even family. That was largely due to abuse when I was little. Now I can accept hugs from family and friends without tensing up.

    I used to hate hugs. They would make me uncomfortable. Now though, I really like giving and receiving hugs from those close to me. I understand not liking hugs though, since I used to feel the same. I always ask if people are ok with hugs before I go for one.

    I absolutely abhor hugs, overall I dont even like any touching of an intimate nature. Even during sex, where you need to touch, I get uncomfortable and I avoid looking at the persons face on making eye contact.

    Ew i hate hugs so much and i dont know why. I dont care if like in hugging my family bit like its just such a wierd thing to do and i hate doing it

    No, I love hugs actually. Despite the fact that I'm incredibly socially awkward and always have been, I love the bond of a hug. I will hug family members, friends, and anyone else who wants one!

    I'll hug pretty much anyone who doesn't mind. Not even my stuffed animals are safe! Although I don't touch my family, mainly because sadly it makes me nauseous

    Your friends should respect your boundaries, OP. I don't know the full story but that seems inconsiderate of them
