I find that I often go through periods of doubt regarding things involving my gender, so I just wanted to post this to not only reassure myself, but also others that may feel the same way

-For trans guys, you're still valid...
    • even if you were a feminine kid
    • even if you are feminine now
    • even if you don't want muscles or a beard or even hormones
    • if you shave, or grow your hair out, or wear feminine clothing
    • if you don't bind or pack
    • if you wear makeup, or paint your nails, or like things like sewing and stereotypically feminine things
-For trans girls, you're still valid...
    • even if you were a masculine kid
    • even if you're a tomboy
    • even if you want short hair and don't shave, and never wear makeup or any feminine clothing
    • even if you enjoy sports and other stereotypically masculine things
    • even if you don't want hormones
-For trans guys, trans girls, and beyond, you're still valid...
    • even if you don't want surgery
    • if dysphoria comes and goes, or is worse some days than others
    • even if you don't want to change your name
    • even if you didn't know from a young age and are just starting to figure things out
    • even if you've changed your mind a few times
    • even if getting misgendered doesn't always bother you
    • even if people tell you "there's only two genders"
    • even if you have your doubts, because that's totally normal
    • even if you feel strange when being referred to correctly - you've been living forever being referred to as something else; of course it'll feel weird!
    • even if you don't feel valid
    • even if you enjoy intercourse with what you were born with - what feels good feels good!
    • no matter what people say

In the end, you are always valid, and you know yourself best deep down. I know it can be hard sometimes, especially when you doubt yourself, and it can really throw you off. In the end though, most cis people don't question their gender and worry about it as much as you, and chances are if you keep coming back to being trans even after doubting yourself, you are. I personally don't hear people talking about doubt much, so I just wanted to put this out there in case anybody is struggling, feels insecure, or feels alone and therefore invalidated. Hang in there, and if you ever need to talk feel free to message me, and if you have anything to add just write it below

Any time <3 if you ever need to talk, just send me a message. Sh*t hurts and it really sucks when something so important feels unsure, but we'll be okay.
