I've had already lots of them during my life but I'll mention the most important ones. Men: Kurt Cobain, River Phoenix, Young Brett Anderson (Suede) Women: Gwen Stefani , Mary Avgeropoulos, Erika Linder
Gwen Stefani is absolutely gorgeous. I thought about adding Kurt Cobain to my list, but since I had already picked Brandon Lee, I didn't really want to keep adding people that were gone. I hadn't thought about River Phoenix, but he was hot too.
Well, these are the famous men I have had very one-sided feelings for during my life, hahah... During my late teens in 1987-1990 it was Jon Bon Jovi. He ruled my world! From summer 1990 until about the end of 1995 it was an Argentine football ( soccer ) player called Claudio Caniggia. I know, I know, none of the people from the States have ever heard of him...but he is fairly famous and legendary in Europe and of course South-America. I had a shorter fling with an Italian actor called Stefano Dionisi from about early 1996 until the end of that year. He played the lead part in the movie Farinelli (1996) which was about a famous castrato singer from the 18th century. During the Olympics in Nagano, Japan in 1998 I fell for the Japanese ski jumper, Kazuyoshi Funaki. He won two gold medals and one silver medal during the games. He was my first ever Asian love, and he pretty much kickstarted my love affair with Asian men. Finally, the late, great and very beautiful Leslie Cheung, oh, I will always love him and I have ever since 1998, when I saw him in the movie Happy Together in which he played the other half of a gay couple. My heart broke the day he died in 2003... Lately I've been watching his concerts on YouTube ( he was a famous actor *and* singer ) and enjoying them a lot. You could say he has become one of the biggest queer icons in Asia, even though during his lifetime he never outright declared that he was gay ( or bi leaning heavily on gay? ) We share the same birthday, September 12th, which feels nice... Oh, and the lovely guy in my avatar is a Japanese stage and musical actor, Daisuke Watanabe, and he is not exactly famous even in his home country, though he has appeared in fairly big roles in a couple of big musicals recently. I've been following him for a year and a half now, all thanks to the internet, of course, and it's been a lot of fun - plus, I've learned a fair amount of Japanese in the process
I forgot that when I was about 8 or 9, I had a HUGE crush on (young) Mark Hamill (played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars).
Yumette, I saw your avatar and was blown away. OMG he is so gorgeous. I have a thing for Asian women (mostly S. Korean) but had never really thought about checking out the men. BUT I WILL NOW!! I also have a thing for Hispanics as well. I think it's the typical darker complexion and whatnot.
Hi, Jennifer M, glad to read your comment! Dai-chan (as he prefers to be called ) is the most beautiful man in the world in my eyes, he has all the things I appreciate in a guy as far as looks go so he is definitely special to me. Plus, he is reportedly a really nice person. One of his male colleagues and close friends once said that he is pretty much perfect due to his outer *and* inner beauty. Anyway, it's great to hear that you found inspiration from my post I tell ya, Asian guys are still criminally overlooked by the general public, even though they do have a very staunch and ever growing "fan club" among some of us Westerners, hahah, especially the younger generations thanks to K-pop and anime. Have fun with your journey of discovery!
@Yumette I like your structure! When I was a kid (in the 90s) I, of course, fell into the Jonathan Taylor Thomas phase. That flowing hair and darker toned skin with those eyes. Gah. Also in the 90s I would have to include Jonathan Brandis (Rest in Peace). I was 5 in 1990 and when it came out I couldn't understand why I couldn't keep my eyes off the "blonde boy" I also had a mad "Crush" on Cary Elwes in the movie Crush! I was totally 8, haha. In my pre-teens/teenage years, the boy bands were booming! I did have a crush on Justin Timberlake, but I also was still keeping an eye on Devon Sawa and Matthew Lawrence. In my late teens/early 20s it was all about LOTRs man! Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood and Viggo. Nowadays? Friggin Bill Skarsgard killed it as Pennywise, and he has also been killing it in the press with that face! lol
I did forget to add a few more of mine.. mostly from one movie "Battle Royale" Tatsuya Fujiwara and Sosuke Takaoka!
Selena Gomez is my all time crush, she was born a month before me & is the same age so in my head this means I clearly have a shot haha
Jennifer Lawrence plus quite a few I follow online but not quite as obsessed! Ellen page Anna Kendrick When I was younger it was probably sarah Michelle gellar in buffy
@Maya100 I thought the same with Amandla Stenburg, born in the same year, she's a few months younger, and thought we could go out. Right now? Gal Gadot. When I was a kid? Vanessa Hudgens.
Since the first Pitch Perfect my top has been the lovely Brittany Snow. But I have a few others that include, Daisy Ridley, Emma Watson and Natasha Negovanlis. Natasha is queen, btw.
I've been having trouble discerning whether I'd like to date or just be Kristen Stewart since like 2012. I'm most definitely here for her ex-like-creature Annie Clark (St. Vincent), though. Oh, and original Twin Peaks-era Madchen Amick, but like also Twin Peaks season three-era Madchen Amick - Holy 40's, Batman!
Check out Dalip Singh aka The Great Khali. He's a giant on steroids (figure of speech) but so hot. Also Eddie Guerrero was gorgeous too.
