Crossdressers

All different kinds of men and all different kinds of sexualities can like crossdressers. Usually, IMO, straight isn't one of them, but there are plenty of others out there that are included beyond just gay men. It isn't limited to one or even two sexualities.

 

Most of them are hetero. And the second biggest part of them are bisexual. Only the smallest part of them are gay. Why? Because gays don't like feminity in their sexuality. I have seen such statistics once. A lot of crossdressers have a wife or girlfriend and like to dress just for their pleasure or play sexual games with their wife/gf. They would not like to have something sexual with other men.

 

Oh dear, there is such generalization here with no real evidence to support any theories. To say "gays don't like femininity in their sexuality" is just plain wrong. It's so full of stereotype, as is this whole thread.

OP: The desire for crossdressing has absolutely nothing to do with sexual orientation. There are plenty of examples of people who crossdress, people who do drag, and people who are transgender that come from all walks of life, including all genders and all sexual orientations. There is no definitive category of a "type" of crossdresser.

 

Tricky. Men into cross dressers seem to be a minority, regardless of sexuality. I've seen some argue that they're simply gay men in denial and using cross dressers as a "bridge" between the two, or are cross dressers themselves, but I think its hard to generalize. There are probably many types and reasons, but because there's stigma involved, they get lumped in as fetishists.

There are some who might mistake a cross dresser for a cis woman, and upon finding out, lose all interest, while others would continue pursuing, anyway. I guess it depends on what part of the cross dresser they're attracted to (is it because they're lady-like? have male parts? just don't care?) and what else they're normally attracted to. Are they only into cross dressers?

Controversial opinion, but I'd assume most were somewhere on the bi or pan spectrum.

 

I don't think there really is a way to know what orientation someone has in a porn video on a porn site.

Remember, sexual orientation is not about behavior. It's about attraction. I'm gay because I am attracted to men. I am gay even though I had sex with a woman for over 20 years. My sexual behavior did not make me heterosexual. I'm still gay.

 

Porn is not real life.

 

I din't want to generalize and there are gay-guys who like that as well. But i wanted to simplify my answer a little bit.

And i don't think that my post was full of stereotypes because i guess that the stereotype would have been exactly the opposite: thinking that gay-guys like to dress as women. That would have been a stereotype, don't you think? Because it's exactly what people around me thinks about gays, judging from their reaction when seeing effeminate guys.

 

honest question from a new member:

I'm slowly working toward being out be as TG(genetic male no GRS plans) at heart not because i need the clothes for my fantasy or erotica, but because the clothes reflect who i am/want to be. Now I'm interested and get very aroused with other TG (genetic male) it's a femme / femme romantic premise but between 2 genetic males, but does the form and love making dictate it's gay? I really don't care, i avoid labels in general as they pigeon hole..
