When you remember that you have always had twig limbs when you were a girl, then realize you're a man but still with the same toothpicks for arms.

You're travelling with strangers and have to constantly remember to keep your chest flat and a bulge in your pants. Stressful as fuck and pretty painful when it's 30°C all the time.

-you look at ciswomen and think, "I wonder if I could pull that look off"

-you are constantly looking over your shoulder wondering if the worthless "people" are going to try something

-when you buy your first skirt/dress and you're so excited to wear it, you almost change clothes in the store right in front of everyone

-when you look at your genitalia and want to puke

-and finally, and probably most important, when someone tells you they support you fully

as for the men here, it seems (to me at least) it's easier for you guys to be viewed as male than for the girls to be viewed as female. Noone looks at you weird if you go out in a pair of jeans, but we get looks if we go out in a skirt. If I'm off base, please correct me, and if I offended someone with this comment, I am truly sorry. I have no intention to offend anyone for any reason.

Don't get me wrong, part of me kinda does wish I was 5'4" or less, but the same way I think most taller cis girls do. Like it'd be cool but doesn't really matter.

I agree. Even if a trans guy doesn't pass they probably won't be noticed as specifically trans. But it also makes it that much harder to be recognized as a "real man". I'm not offended. But I can understand if others might be.

When you don't identify with your birth name anymore and hearing/reading it feels like being a cat that doesn't recognize itself in the mirror.
    "Who? Oh, that's me? What?
...no, that's not me. It's someone else. Like, someone else took control of my facebook profile and wrote that thing."
    Creepy...

I was just thinking the same thing. It seems that's why trans men come out and transition later in life, statistically. Being able to shop in the men's section and present more masculine probably helps lengthen the time they can live without actually transitioning.

Mom: "Are you sure you have to buy clothes? Did you look in both wardrobes, isn't there something left?"
Me: *thinks about those 10 given skirts worn only once for years, 20 cute shirts, 10 skinny pants, 3 dresses* "No, not much left"
Mom: "What do you need exactly?"
    Me: "I don't know... normal clothing..." («Button-ups! From men's section!»)

Well, my cousin's gonna be happy. She'll receive soon a ton of cute clothes from me, hahah.

When a girl walk into the bathroom then quickly walks back out embarrassed, and you sigh and say you're in the right place, but then realized you actually passed
