I am going to have to find a suitable romantic skill to share. I can't write poetry and I pretty much faked my way through playing the clarinet for eight years of band.

And I agree with @RJay that we are a very passionate bunch of hopeless romantics. You ladies are all very talented!

Hope that link works and isn't annoying to use. You should be able to download an mp3 from the page it sends you to. It's only good for 7 days.

I wonder about this all the time tbh. It makes me feel like less of a lesbian than I should because I've never kissed a girl despite having two previous ldr girlfriends.

Will definitely listen tomorrow - device low on memory now..
    Mendelssohn - favorite.

This thread is so d.mn appropriate today - thanks to all romantics here.

Sad day for me, she was not sparing too many words today.
On a brighter side (politics aside), could not bare to watch Rachel Maddow today - every feature, line of hers is So Hot!
I can not watch her with spouse next to me.
    So, Rachel made my day.

Back to the topic: Really wish to kiss a woman, but not just any.

    I am Not a poet, poets here - I can't compete with.
    All poems are super!

I did write one a while back for her (not for Rachel):

Some day I'll take her out for ice cream
    And get her marshmallows too
    Light pink and fluffy
    Flying, twirling in the air
Like my heart sending beautiful string of pink petals
Gracefully floating delicate butterflies, disappearing far away,
Into her heart, to let her know I am thinking of her

Skip a day or two on this thread and it has exploded into SUCH a showcase of talent. To the poets and writers out there--WOW. Enjoyed everything. To RJay-thank you for sharing. I actually turned down my TV (never turn down TV, always on in the background-hate to be alone with my own thoughts!) and listened to the whole thing. Beautiful, SUCH talent. (Me: epic piano fail, left only with the skill to play a rather harsh and banged out version of 'What I Did For Love' oh, and a choppy 'Theme from Aladdin')

I'm a cartoonist, I draw these characters, can never draw the same character twice...but they all look alike. At some point I will post some of my stuff in photos. Nothing professional, just do it for fun.

IDK, maybe we should rethink. We want this hospital to be a bit edgy. I vote for some sort of 80's Rock (think Def Leppard, Pat Benatar ..):metal::guitar:

OMG THIS was the WORST. Those angled lines above the sentences. UUUUGGGGHHHH!

That was bad. As was anything in science class that needed to be proved out with a bunsen burner, and a variety of liquids in vials. Basically anything that required wearing goggles. I could never get my 'proof'; never even understood WHAT I was supposed to be proving. NOT science minded. At all.

Fallen angel clarinetist here too--eight years of band too. AND Marching Band. Remember for one July 4 parade we were marching and playing the 'Theme from Hawaii Five O' (this is correct, at a patriotic parade we were playing TV themes, as though there was no more appropriate choice for the day.)

We were assigned to memorize said theme. NOPE. Faked the whole way. Long parade.

Hahaha, oh yeah! We had marching, concert, and pep band and if you were required to participate in all of them. Somehow I managed to then get myself assigned to the orchestra pit for all the high school musicals. To this day I can't believe no one caught on.

And Hawaii 5 O must have some hidden patriotic theme. We played that and the school song at the Memorial Day parade.

I played the alto saxophone in my high school band. We had to play at the graduation ceremony at the local university. We played "Pomp and circumstance". Over 500 graduates. I played that until my face hurt!

I've only been with one woman and the first kiss was electric. It just kept getting better so good you didn't want to stop even when you have kissed so much you get chapped lips. Kissing is my favourite thing.
