I came out to a friend tonight

    I came out tonight to my friend at karate. We were complaining about our husbands and we were both fed up. She was very supportive. She asked me if I had a girlfriend. It was an amazing moment in my life. I'm so proud of myself.

    No. Karate is for everyone. At my dojo everyone is welcome. My style of karate is the same style in the original movie The Karate Kid.

    Proud of you too! Just a couple days ago my therapist and I were discussing vulnerability, making yourself vulnerable, how it can be so scary but so rewarding etc etc.

    And that's what you did with coming out to your friend. Made yourself vulnerable.
