Ok I'm curious, are you jealous because they started a friends or just because of the sweet note?

OK, first... Sandra Bullock! (That's Sandy to us.)

Now, I will overcome my false modesty and give a report card. Caltech (EE), Santa Cruz (Math), Santa Barbara (CompSci). Hard to combine them all in any single job; all told, yes I used them.

Ahem. Any readers here find that potential dates are intimidated by education and erudition? (Hint: yes.) Well, I won't be, so call me!

Silverhalo, no way you are not in psychology/therapy area! I couldn't agree more with the ladies here - thought you were a therapist helping us all out:slight_smile:

Jealous because her friend said 'yes', took her hand and has not let it go for the last 2 years of their journey into the sunset.. (Which was not the outcome of mine).

Yes, I am surprised Rjay is jealous of it. Great question!

100% I promise I'm not. I used to work at an agricultural college on the yard with the horses and students supervising and teaching practical skills and now I do office admin haha. Definitely no therapy or psychology.

I get your jealousy, you feel like you were in that same situation but didn't get the prize.
I was interested whether there would be equal jealousy if say I had posted something about an anniversary note from or to my girlfriend etc.

I'm not saying what I do because I don't want to be stuck doing it again in this fantasy world. I just want to fart around looking at .... stuff.

I'm totally up for working in the EC hospital. I've worked reception, in the records department and I'm a qualified medical secretary (but without their amazing speed)

We'll create a degree for you Silver you have to work in the mental health dept

Okay I caught up! So many things, but I love it. @RJay I so hope you go to that meet up! I am disappointed by the lack of groups in my city and so wish there was any sort of LGBT cohesive community. And the fact that it's late in life?? Gah so jealous. Getting to know all of you has made me realize how much I need more people in my life who really get what I'm going through. Keep us updated!

I too loved that quote and was a little pained by it. That's the dream! ..open up to our straight crushes for them to fall for us as well. That would be so lovely.

    And a little about me..
I'm 6'0, reddish hair and freckles. No tattoos but I've always been interested. I know I'd have to really really want one and be sure to go through with it.
I was a Spanish teacher before I became a stay at home mom. I then started photography (families, engagements, some weddings), and now I'm part time teaching again while still doing some photography. Now that it's looking like I'll be splitting with my husband, the goal is to full time teach next year, shoot weddings in the summer, and some family shoots on the side.

Okay now I plan to stay engaged and not fall behind again! I'm loving learning about you all.

No, not at all! I'm not jealous of everybody in a relationship... I'm just a bit jealous of that particular post because I don't think that particular thing can happen to me, and I got so invested in the idea.

Lol! Funny because I am so attracted to confident women often in superior rolls. But I know I give off the super confident vibes being so tall.

I just figured it out. On the left menu, click "media", then "add media". Then on dropdown menu click "create new album", then you name it and add photos. Mine are still waiting moderator approval. Hoping it works!

Wow, I've missed out. What are we doing...job, height, special interests? Lol.
    Ok here goes.
    - I was working in healthcare law (J.D.), and I'm currently switching careers and doing coursework to get into medical school in my 40s! (yes, I'm crazy and masochistic).
    - 5'5"
    - No tattoos but was thinking of getting one to commemorate coming out to myself. (still too chicken)

    Bingo, didn't get the prize.
I love romantic posts/confessions by women to women.

Yeah I get that. It wasn't a criticism anyway haha. I was just curious.

I think what I would say to that is sure that exact scenario might not happen to you but if you end up with an amazing girl on your arm the how you met is surely not the important bit.
