Imagine there is someone almost exactly same as yourself, including its look, gender, behavior, iq, and all other things, like its another you.

Do you like to choose it as your close friend(or marry him/her) or not? Explain why so.

I would befriend him, but not get involved with him romantically. First, I am not my "type". Second, that would be weird. Like dating an identical twin. Although it would be interesting to see how I am as a kisser and everything... but still too weird.

No, because that mean I would have to look at everything I hate about myself.

I would definetly be friends with someone just like me but I wouldn't date someone just like me. Only because even I'm out of my league.

I did meet someone who was exactly like me. We didn't look exactly alike but we liked the same shows, books and movies and when we ate in restaraunrts we ordered the exact same thing. I never got romantically involved with her I don't even know if she's gay or not. I met her on holidays years ago and our friendship lasted the length of the holiday and no longer. If someone magically appeared who looked exactly like me and behaved exactly like me I probably wouldn't date them. I would get annoyed way too easily. Somethings about myself I don't like I wouldn't want to have to deal with the double the trouble with a doppelgänger.

I wouldn't want someone who is EXACTLY like me in every way, but I prefer someone as similar as possible to me compared to the reverse.

My type is not really what I look like. I'm not attracted to myself. And I think it's hard to be involved with someone with absolutely no physical attraction towards them.

Interesting, dating me would be strange. They'd know almost too much for comfort though! I suppose they'd really understand you, and like what you do, I'd finally have someone I could fangirl about everything I like with. I think they'd be more a friend

I feel like, yes? Provided they looked different, but I think being able to fundamentally understand one another would the most appealing thing in that relationship.

Not in a million years. I'm the hardest person to live with in the world. My mood swings (I'm bi-polar) and "eccentricities", tho most just call me weird, are more than a lot of people could handle. If someone was like me, we would most likely end up in an extremely violent fight every time we saw each other.

Note to self - hermit is best.

Yeah same here. If I find someone who has my good traits, sure I would go for that person. But if he/she has my bad traits too, i wouldnt think we'll last longer than a day. My zodiac sign is Aries, and I do have those negative traits that they always mention with regards to an Aries woman.

I'm a Capricorn, and yes we can be a complete psycho on things, since we're so damn hard headed.

Exactly like me would be like looking in a mirror...that would be a bit strange! It is good to have more similarities with someone as it's more likely that you will have more to share.
