What are you thinking?

I feel this all too much. Although I'm not a guy, I do however have social anxiety and I know the struggle about wanting to cry all the time...Lol.
I used to think that it makes you weak, but it doesn't. The best advice I can give, from one person dealing with social anxiety to another, just let it out. Don't hold it in and don't bottle up your feelings, it makes things so much worse. If you need to cry, let yourself do it. It does help a lot of the time.

 

Ah, okay! I've heard about year-round schools, but I never attended one as a kid, and I've never worked at one before. I think there are a couple year-round schools in my part of CA though I've heard they can be pretty good schools, but I'm so used to a traditional schedule haha.

 

Good: Vox's podcast network.

Bad: Virtually everyone on Vox's podcast network has the vocabulary, verbal tics and glottal fry of a 15 year old Californian private school girl.

 

Ugh I don't wanna go to work tomorrow.

 

Pain.

 

My Xbox is a wanker. It tried to tell me earlier that my copy of FIFA is an "unrecognized disc", as in "this disc is so scratched up I can't recognize it", even though I JUST BOUGHT IT THIS MORNING brand-new. First time I put it in, it said it was "unrecognized". I need to start saving up for a new Xbox, obviously.

 

I made it to the hotel and to the rehearsal dinner successfully last night, although getting here was incredibly stressful. I realized while I was sitting on the plane that I'd already lost count of the number of times I'd said the word "fuck," and that was before it took an hour to get my checked bags and rental car.

 

So, the film shoot didn't go as planned. One of the students that's part of the film challenge and goes to the campus we plan on filming at tried to get us in one of the buildings to film. As it turns out, one of his professors or advisors wasn't there, so we couldn't get the access to film there (since we'd need supervision) and the security didn't know we were coming due to a mix-up in some emails. Also, our lead actress got sick on top of that...so we had to postpone filming. I'm not sure when we're going to get the ball rolling again, but I hope the challenge's runners will push the due date back to the end of the month so we and the other groups have more time to get our stuff done. :/

 

Work was actually pretty good today.

 

I really wish I could buy a Switch. I'm dying to play botw...

Visited the Pulse memorial today before the wedding. It was very bittersweet.

 

Super excited to go to Monterey for the next two days!

Morning, EC. Today's an easier travel day as it involves only one stop. I have no idea how I'm going to pass my three hour layover in Chicago though.

 

I learn something new today... Life is good I think. Nothing special really but I've find something that I actually have a passion for, so no matter what come my way. Life is good.

 

Hoping the constant irritability, anxiety, and stress isn't gradually leading me back into the lonely, melancholy sort of depression.
