Did anyone ever watch the show As Told By Ginger on Nick/TeenNick? I've been listening to a podcast on Youtube and remembering some of the episodes from back and then which made my realize, how groundbreaking that show was. I mean for being a TV-Y7 or TV-G, it actually pushed the limits on that rating. I mean it talked about peer pressure, a little about divorce, death, sex ed, coming of age, relationships, "mean girls" bullshit in a thirty minute format. I mean I remember some of the episodes from then. Anyone remember the show? Anyone like the show or hated it? Discuss.
I LOVED this show. And Ginger always seemed depressed and introspective, which is exactly how I felt throughout my childhood. And I loved the theme song!
As Told By Ginger was an awesome show! I loved watching it when when I was younger. Wasn't a fan of the art style though.
There is this podcast on Youtube called Old School Lane that has been reviewing As Told By Ginger episodes since the Spring I believe. I haven't watched As Told By Ginger since 2003-2004, so I have been listening to these podcasts a refresher.
Oh, hey, I thought I was the only one who remembered that show. It was a pretty decent show. At the moment, there are only a few episodes I remember off the top off my head, but it was one of those shows I liked in spite of myself. Don't remember the last time I saw it, though.
I always liked the formula this show took, and it wasn't afraid to be pretty much an animated soap opera.
