The first time I did this I got INFP, but I spent more time this time around going through it thinking about my answers, and I ended up getting INTP.

    The test: https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test

    My results:

    INFP

    The logician

The Logician personality type is fairly rare, making up only three percent of the population, which is definitely a good thing for them, as there’s nothing they’d be more unhappy about than being “common”. Logicians pride themselves on their inventiveness and creativity, their unique perspective and vigorous intellect. Usually known as the philosopher, the architect, or the dreamy professor, Logicians have been responsible for many scientific discoveries throughout history.

    I'm an INFP.

I first got INTJ on 16personalities (which is a very inaccurate site and doesn't really tell you your real type), and then consistently got ISTJ elsewhere. I found out I was an INFP with the help of others on a forum. Didn't take a test to find that out, and probably wouldn't be accurate since I have a subconscious bias in wanting to be a thinker, so....

I've taken these test for years and I have never gotten a result besides INTJ so it seems pretty accurate.

    My results:

    INTJ-T

    The Architect

It’s lonely at the top, and being one of the rarest and most strategically capable personality types, Architects know this all too well. Architects form just two percent of the population, and women of this personality type are especially rare, forming just 0.8% of the population – it is often a challenge for them to find like-minded individuals who are able to keep up with their relentless intellectualism and chess-like maneuvering. People with the Architect personality type are imaginative yet decisive, ambitious yet private, amazingly curious, but they do not squander their energy.

    INTJ.

I used to be a lot more reserved and cautious, but I think I'm developing a significant "fuck you" streak. Blame the N.

In the actual Meyers-Briggs test, I've always come up INFP (I've taken the full test for employment and education reasons more than once in the past.) That said, the results are always very "middle road" between the thinking and feeling ends of the spectrum, and that is the same in this test.

This test, I came up as....

    Logician Personality (INTP, -A/-T)

The Logician personality type is fairly rare, making up only three percent of the population, which is definitely a good thing for them, as there’s nothing they’d be more unhappy about than being “common”. When I took this quiz a few years ago I got ENFP and after taking it again it's still the same.

    I am the advocate.

Edit- I hit post too soon :frowning2:

It mentioned that the advocate is very private and won't share thoughts or feelings until they are comfortable. This is absolutely true of me in new situations. I prefer to just watch and get a feel for things before becoming slightly more extroverted.

Whoops, typo there- I meant to put INTP.

Similar to what I got, except I got perceiving instead of judging. Yeah... I don't do deadlines.

Yeah same- my thinking and feeling scores are almost always (if not always) close to being equal. I got INTP-T, and got 81% turbulent so apparently I'm fairly disorderly.

This is interesting.... But also rather conflicting.

I did the test on the link and it came up as INFP -A -T. However I have taken several other Myers-Briggs personality tests, some with less detailed questions and several with more and all of the other tests have come up with INTJ, which by self assessment have always pretty much Fit.

In reading the INFP description on the website I can see where it does fit, but to a much lesser degree than what the other tests have shown with my being in INTJ, which makes me wonder if the way the test is being presented either in wording (which I would think would be standardized) or by using the colored circles of various sizes to graphically represent the answers (where a more plain interface would be more neutral) might have something to do with getting different results? ... LOL.. In my re-reading what I have just typed that's definitely the way an INTJ would look at this! So if anyone is really interested in seeing what their personality type is I would check some different

Here is another Myers Briggs Test (I just took this one and it came up with the same thing that all the other tests I've taken have other than the test at the beginning of this thread)-

    ^ Pretty much this

16personalities isn't accurate in judging your real type for several reasons. For one, the questions are kind of messed up. If you say you are interested in artsy stuff, you're automatically an intuitive. If you say you're interested in traditional things, automatically sensor. But in reality, the SP types are KNOWN for being artsy and socially rebellious, so they are not going to fit within these narrow sensor definitions that the test forces on them. Along this, some types aren't as fitting to certain letters (INFJ's are far less feeling than most F types for example, they're almost always mistaken for thinkers at first. So a really strong feeling question isn't something that all of them will relate to), so it doesn't always add up.

Alright, so I took the test and I also got INTP on it, however the individual scores were quite different, to compare:

    16personalities:72% introverted

Humanmetrics: 50% introverted, moderate preference of introversion over extroversion.

    16personalities: 80% Intuition

Humanmetrics: 28% Intuition, moderate preference of intuition over sensing.

    16personalities: 55% thinking

Humanmetrics: 3% thinking, marginal or no preference of thinking over feeling.

16personalities: I forgot what my perceiving score was, I seem to have missed that one out.

Humanmetrics: 19% Slight preference of perceiving over judging (Surprised, I hate deadlines- but I do like ordering things, I thought my perceiving score would be higher than that).
