ok so last year i came out as a lesbian to everyone. For my whole life ive never had feelings for boys and just was never interested. Puberty came round, got my first crush and came out as gay. Now, a year later, my friends brother is a trans boy and im ive had a growing crush on him for a while. Also, ive had a few 'odd' thoughts about one of my guy friends. Is it just a puberty thing? Im very confused. thoughts?
There's this thing called the Kinsey scale. It shows where your sexuality may be. If you're a 0 you're completely straight. If you're a 6 you're completely gay. I'd say you're a 5. Hope this helps.
Saying it is just a puberty thing is actually very sensible. A lot of hormones making their initial impression. Another way of putting it is: you're human. You're attracted to something beyond category.
I've had this conversation with some of my lesbian friends before and it turns out a lot of lesbians are attracted to trans men from my experience. I don't completely know why.
