:\ I guess I'm the awkward soft-butch looking person (who's secretly trans) who makes everyone question if they're bisexual or gay. So that's . . . a good thing?

There are days when I get really bad body dysmorphia (not same as gender dysphoria but sometimes the two can be linked), but later on in the same day, I'll feel really attractive. I know it sounds ridiculous, but maybe you can related. I sometimes feel extremely unattractive, but I know that I probably am just "average", like everyone else.

The sun will shine tomorrow, the rain will go away. That's not just a promise, it's just the way stuff works

You are strong, beautiful, smart and brave, and I know you can make it through tomorrow if you can make it through today:wink:

To those dealing with unacceptance at home, rise above it. The best revenge is living a beautiful life.

I was looking in the mirror today and it occurred to me just how far I've come in how I view my body, as a trans guy.

A little over a year ago I was struggling with self harm and every time saw my reflection there was only hatred and sadness. But not today.

What changed? I realized that, you know, you don't have to fit an archetype to be beautiful. Just be... you. Flaws and all. Own them. Make them your trademark. Because the truth is that it was never about having a ripped body, perfect hair, suntanned skin, or designer clothes. That's boring.

Who you are is beautiful. My body may not be perfect right now. I don't have abs, my chest is not flat, I am short and pale. My hair is red and messy. But you know what? Standing in that mirror is a guy who knows who he is. And that's fabulous as fuck.

Battly hymn of every trans guy: Carry on my wayward son!
