One thing that sucks about living in the city, is that you can't see the stars at night...
I'm glad I live in the country, even if it's for only a year or two longer.

So, my mom might check in with someone at her job to see if they're still hiring. If they are, I should be able to get back on my feet, god forbid I start out as a temp. Everywhere else is either too far out for me to go (since I'm still trying to get the courage to go behind the wheel) or is something I'm nowhere nearly qualified for (so truck driver, carpenter, RN, or stuff like that). I'm going to hate this so damn much, since I don't like being around people, but it's do or die. I have nothing left. No more options.

I doubt the plasma center will take me because of the shit ton of stuff I'm on and how royally fucked some of my levels are, and just selling even half of the old stuff I have is probably going to just barely cover my phone bill and my meds, let alone putting a dent in my rent. My life is barely salvageable right now, so maybe working in some dead end warehouse will keep my mind off the idea of relapse. If I make it to the end of the summer, it will be a miracle worth converting over. I just need something to go right, or find something that's impossible for me to destroy or fuck up--but knowing me, being a fuck up since birth, that's going to be hard.

The bad news: my charger port in my phone went bad. The good news, I can still charge it wirelessly. They are also sending me a new phone since it is a defect and not something that I broke.

I also realized that I never put this on here. My interview went really well and I have been placed in the pool for the promotion! I'll find out soon what position I am getting. So, in a matter of months I went from homeless and almost having to pack up and move back home to being placed in the promotion pool. I never thought that I would be able to do that since my ex's called and told them I was mentally unstable and a lot of other lies.

If everyone in my neighborhood would stop blowing up loud explosive fireworks at 11:40 at night, that'd be great. I can't deal with loud, jolting, unexpected sounds.

Sleep is for the weak. I love the high of staying awake, drinking coke, listening to music, and keeping the lights on so I can stay awake and...write! I think my cat is getting annoyed though and wants me to turn off the music shut up and go to sleep so he can sleep too (cat's have ears sensitive enough to be able to hear through earbuds, so they think humans are crazy for actually wearing them in their ears).
I wonder what the world would be like if cat's ruled it.

The chants of "No Trump, no KKK, no racist, fascist USA" were quite fitting.

Wow that's super cool. Hopefully we'll impeach Trump soon. It's just, what will we do with Mike Pence?

Honestly, Target isn't a bad place to work at all. I'm a cashier and cashiering day in and day out tends to get a bit tedious. Personally, I feel a bit overqualified working there but it's an awesome part-time position. If you like interacting with demon spawns (err...I mean guests) everyday and juggling one task while trying to complete another, go for it! There is a Target subreddit available if you're curious about working there. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask way!

Found myself looking through the online fanstore of my football club, just because I can actually buy the stuff that is sold there now. So many possibilities when you actually, finally have a job again.

That is awesome. The sooner the orange manchild is out of office, the better.

So I was at work the other night, and this guy comes up and asks me about the Thor's hammer that I wear and asked me if I was into Asatru (the Norse religion). I don't believe in any gods at all, but I do take an interest in Norse mythology, so in the back of my head, I figured it would be less of a hassle than explaining that I don't believe in gods, so I just said yes and then I went back to my work. But I was just thinking about that fifteen-second encounter now, and what kind of fucked-up county do I live in where it's easier to just say I believe in the Norse religion than to actually say that I'm an atheist?

So now there's a guy in my workplace who probably thinks that I believe in the Norse gods (if he remembers our encounter at all) and it's still probably safer than admitting I'm a total unbeliever.

On a totally random note, just now I went to edit this post and almost ended up double posting it because I clicked "reply" instead of "edit". Good thing there's a time limit on posting twice in the same thread.
