So I finally told my sister. My parents are awesome. I knew my sister would be. Saying the words out loud for some reason still seem hard. My sister basically said "You're point?" I hope someday everyone of us won't have to be in closets. That we won't have to fight for human rights. I wish everyone could have parents like mine. ️
Yay congrats!! I'm super stoked for you, I hope the same thing as you, the world is changing quickly so fingers crossed!
I only have one extended family member I probably wait awhile on. I've always heard him say horrible things about LGTBQ. Little did he know he was talking about me. Maybe this will help him. Whichever way he reacts I've got more support than non support.
So happy to hear it worked out well for you =) Congratulations, all parents should be like yours. How did you go about telling them? Did you tell them one on one?
For my parents I told them together. My sister I told with the help of my mom. I get the feeling they think I'm just questioning right now. Which is okay. I understand it's all new for them. It's new for me too. They will support me no matter what. That's all I care about.
