I'm really interested to seeing if there are any good romance movies etc. about the LGBT community! Preferably lesbian because that's what I am, but obviously this whole site isn't - so recommend away!

Wonder Woman is bisexual. There's a 2017 film, her sexuality isn't discussed and she has romantic feelings towards a man, but people know her sexuality anyway. There's comics and another film aswell.

I have quite the list of lesbian movies, tv shows and other media. I like to consider myself a lesbian culture connoisseur.

    Movies
    But Im a Cheerleader
    Carol
    Imagine Me and You
Blue Is the Warmest Colour (I personally thought it was shitty but a lot of humans like it)
    Anatomy of a love seen
    Pariah

TV Shows (most of these just have centric gay characters with the plot being something different)
    Oitnb
    Faking It
    Orphan Black
    The L Word
    Super Girl
    Wynnona Earp
The 100 (never watch past season 3!!!:joy:)

    Books
The Miseducation of Cameron Post (my personal favourite book of this genre and is also being made into a movie!) - Emily M Danforth
Tell Me Again How a Crush Should Feel - Sara Farizan
If You Could Be Mine - Sara Farizan
The Price of Salt (also called Carol) - Patricia Highsmith
Annie On My Mind - Nancy Garden
Keeping You A Secret - Julie Anne Peters
Her Name in the Sky - Kelly Quindlen

there are more but I cant think of em right now. Hope there are at least a few things on this list you havent heard of!

OMG I actually watched Carol already haha, but most of these I haven't watched! I heard about Blue is the Warmest Colour also, but I feel like it's either you love it or hate it.
As for The 100, I never actually watched it, but I know what you are referring to #Clexa :frowning2:
I'll definitely check some of these out though

Yah, the books in this list are my favourite tbh. They accomplish so much more than the tv shows and movies I think. If ya like to read I recommend the books the most!

Hugely recommend Lip Service, it's sort of a Scottish version of The L Word but with only 2 seasons - The L Word is a must-watch!
Orphan Black also has some representation in it!

Book-wise I think Radio Silence is pretty good if you're into YA fiction!

Not lesbian, but Boy meets Boy by David Levithan is pretty good,

And for a historical film maybe try Milk

Lost Girl (not really my favorite show, couldn't get hooked on it, but I think the main character is bisexual.)
Person of Interest (the lesbian characters aren't until later, but the show itself is pretty good too.)
Bloomington (a personal favorite of mine)
    Loving Annabelle

Also, I just remembered another, The Fall! I really love one of the f/f relationships on there and Gillian Anderson is just so beautiful.
The subject of the show itself is kinda creepy though, be warned...

Adding "if these walls could talk 2" and " itty bitty titty committee" because no one mentioned them yet.
The first is a bit older and sort of looks at gay history...i think you can actually watch it illegally on youtube if you want. The second is a comedy about feminism...sort of.
    ( both are movies)

don't know if anyone mentioned it already but the one show that touched me like nothing else was SKAM.
It's a norwegian show (you can find subtitles) about the lives of teenagers and it's the most relatable thing on the planet!
every season focusses on another character and season 3 told the story of a boy's journey to accept his sexuality when he falls in love with another boy.

It's an amazingly relatable story and a very good representation of LGBTQ+ through the entire series. It's actually the whole reason I finally started to question what I'd been feeling for years.
