It's rare I cry, even over a song but there are a few that hit home or get very close.

Cancer-My Chemical Romance (for personal reasons)

    Forever and Always-Parachute

    Hero of War-Rise Against

    Concrete Angel-Martina McBride

There's a few others I'm sure but this is what comes to mind.

i cant think of any that will actually get me anything more than a little teary eyed at worst... time of your life will sometimes get me close..

This one is pretty good about for lgbt specifically.. gets a little teary eyed because its pretty easy to relate to and pretty powerful:

    Lullabies by All Time Low

Alex wrote it about his older brother who committed suicide. The first time I listened to it I cried, and now every time I hear it I get emotional.

    I actually don't think I can cry...like, medically.

Lots of the sort of music that makes people cry trends not to hold my attention, or it doesn't induce the same emotional response.

Maybe I'm a cold-hearted husk of a person, or maybe doing a music course has stopped me from being able to just listen to a song (I can't help but analyse stuff now). My money's on the former.

There was a contestant on the English X factor who wrote her own songs her name was Lucy Spraggan. She wrote a really emotional song called tea and toast.

Let Her Cry - Hootie & the Blowfish. Mostly because this song reminds me of a very dark time in my life.

True Sadness - The Avett Brothers. This song speaks about how deep within all of us, when you peel away enough layers, there are the things that have scarred us in some way.
