Yes! It's pretty easy to see if you are in an area with low levels of ambient light. I've seen it with the naked eye in a remote camp in Ohio and in several places in Arizona in the US. Being up in a fairly isolated part of a mountain range at night also works.

You mean with no light pollution? Sure, plenty. Used to live in a town of 5000 (and nothing but farms for a good 50 sq. miles or so out), so pretty much every night for 10 years.

Yes, we can usually see it in the summer if the weather is decent. It is absolutely amazing.

Yes I've seen it! I lived for 11 years in the countryside, far enough from light pollution to see the milky way every night the sky was clear

Yes, I used to live out in the middle of 40 acres of forest. There was a massive clearing where our house was and I could see it overhead. It was freaking amazing.

All you need is to go someplace with little to no people and look up.

No but I think it would be cool to get to see one.

We're in the Milky Way, so technically I am constantly seeing it.

I've seen it a few times. The last time I remember seeing it was when I lived in WI. I lived in a small city of 10,000 and we lived right on the edge of town in an apartment complex that was bordered by the interstate highway and a field. The ambient light out there was very low and on a clear night we could see the wispy bands of the Milky Way. It was pretty cool

Because I live so far north, I see the northern lights a lot. The stars here are unlike anywhere else you've ever seen. There's so many and the northern lights are fantastic. I have seen the milky way before. It's incredible.
