Probably this German movie called the wall, it's actually quite good but it's also quite strange and surreal

Granted I haven't seen tons of movies in my life, A Clockwork Orange is, by far, one of the most uncomfortable and strange movies I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I like the move in some respects. I just have to be in the absolute right mood to watch it. I find most of Stanley Kubric's films are good, but really fn weird or messed up lol. I think 2001: A Space Odyssey is another one lol.

My younger brother and I wanted to have a competition to see who could last the longest watching a terrible movie so we watched 'The Amazing Bulk.' It was the weirdest (and worst) thing I have ever watched. Here's the trailer in case you don't believe me:

There's a french (but translated) childrens' film "A Town Called Panic". I would also mention Vanilla Sky, which is intensely weird in a very different way.

Probably a film called 'Synecdoche, New York'. It's really quirky and so smart. It's one of my favourite movies of all time. The movie is presented in kind of a dream like/purgatory way so it's really confusing at first. The writing is superb. Definitely check it out. It affected me so much that I thought about it for a week straight. Still think about it all the time. What a great movie

I love weird movies, so I hope this thread will give me some new ideas of what to see

The weirdest I have seen was David Lynch's Inland Empire. I still don't really even know what it was that I experienced.

I've seen so many weird movies that I'm not even sure which one I'd consider the weirdest. Naked Lunch is definitely up there though. Videodrome and Altered States are also a couple contenders.

James Franco's adaptation of the William Faulkner novel As I Lay Dying. The novel itself is a bit of a trip, and Franco's method tried to capture the flow of consciousness Faulkner used in his writing. Anyone watching this movie would be completely lost without reading the book first.

I guess the weirdest movie I actually liked (or even loved) was eXistenZ. it's kind of cyberpunk, though.

S Darko. I am a huge Donnie Darko fan ... but S Darko was both bizarre and terrible. The plot was so convoluted. I honestly got lost in the middle with all the little subplots they tried to set up. I'm sure I have seen stranger films, but this is what came to mind.
