Sense8 is getting a closure two hour special!

Yesterday Lana announced we are getting a two hour special to give us some closure. It will air next year.

Also, what are your thoughts on this Netflix move?

 

I know, but at least it's better that just dropping it like they did.
I knew the series was cancelled before finishing season two but after the end of episode 11 I was left starting a the screen trying to process that "that's it, there isn't and there won't be any more than this. ever"and I felt so betrayed.
I'd like to believe that if they play their cards well and give enough closure while still leaving the end open there could be a chance of a third season in the future. That if we get to expand the fanbase, which seams unlikely with the current abrupt end in my opinion.
