    I have no LGBT friends from school and I just really want someone to talk to. I know it's kind of weird but I'm just super lonely so a friend in this website would be cool. Just someone to talk to though is great

    New York must have a lot of LGBT people, surely? I'm surprised your school doesnt have some LGBT club. But I guess its harder to find LGBT people if you're not fully out.

    My school is in the middle of no where and pretty conservative so I don't have a lot of luck even though I'm pretty out

    Ah, you see, I thought you were in New York City... my mistake... you did say upstate New York but, I have to confess, I didnt really think about what that meant at the time.

    I live out in a sparsley populated area too. Used to live in a city. Cities are so much better for meeting people but there are more LGBT people around in the countryside than you may think. It is harder when you are younger though... whelp, at least you have EmptyClosets for now :slight_smile:

    Yeah I've only been on for a while but it seems great. I used to live in some more accepting places but then my parents divorced and moved to the middle of no where and it's been tough being accepted as who I am in my town.

    Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. My parents divorced when I was 9 years old but at least I didnt have to move homes. You're very brave to come out at 13. I didnt come out until I was 20 years old... imgaine how hard it was for me to meet other LGBT people before that!
    Are you out to many people?

    All of my 6 friends and my mom and stepdad and little bro. My parents divorced when I was five but didn't move far till I was 11

    I dont quite live in Cornwall but, yes, I do live in the English South West. Cornwall is a beautiful place though.

    Its certainly a beautiful area of England. Which is why I moved here in the first place. I do miss the city a bit as its much easier to meet people and make friends. Less crazy people trying to stab me though, so thats good :sweat_smile:
