I am really excited! The second and fourth Monday of every month, a group of men meet to discuss coming out. So far, I have only come out to my wife, my counselor, and my family doctor. I do go through periods of thinking dark thoughts. But this morning, I am feeling like maybe I am doing the right thing.

maverick1....I am so excited for you! You sound so much better than just a short while ago. Believe me, talking to others who are working through the same type of things that you are is incredibly encouraging. It confirms that you are not alone on this path that we find ourselves walking. For years I thought I was the only one who was messed up in the weird way that was me. When I started to realize that I wasn't messed up (ok I was, but not how I thought!), that I wasn't weird, that I was just as I was meant to be. Most importantly...it was ok to be me, just as it's ok to be you! Have a great time and make new friends! ......David
