I dunno what i really wana talk about... i just need something to do since i can't RP anymore. The only real eve ts happe ing for me are just basically the hormones thing. Everything else is just kinda... boring.
I'. talking text based Roleplay,Not RPGs or Tabletop RPGs, though i enioy the former two. I've bever had a chance to truly play the latter. Regardless, alot of my friends left the rp forum i was once on but then... alot of people left because of the redesigredesme case apllies here. I garuntee that egen if you dont realize it, some people had left when this site was redesigned. I legit joined maybe a week beforehand so it was cool with me.
I tried to get into a text based role play recently and they wouldn't accept me. Said my writing wasn't up to par! I was so disappointed. I have done other ones though. I've never played tabletop RPG's either. They kind of scare me. Having to embody your character. *eek* I've been wanting to play Magic: the Gathering though, but I have no one to learn with.
First of all, almost all roleplay forums are like that, they don't accept newcomers. The one i found welcomes anyone and everyone which is how improved from. *she sat silently in a corner* to... Let's say... Chiruka sat in the back right corner of room classroom, empty desks surrounding her. She preferred to be alone, especially when she , because normally what she ate was nothing. Nothing to her stomach, nothing to help her live. It was her choice,but it was a choice brought about by the countless judegments she faced. All she could ever worry about was how she looked. 'Am i good enough?', she would ask herself in the morning 'Will someone compliment me today?', she would ask herself as she walked down the halls. But no one came. No one spoke a word to her. Because Chiruka wasnt your average girl, if anything she was seen as below average. But who's to say she couldn't be herself? Her train of thought was broken as she heard the bell sound, and the usual flood of students came down the hall, along with the person she so depserately wanted to be with. (And the insert the stereotypical i always liked your character Blah blah) that was sub par for me. I've written much better. in fact... jf i can find the thread,i'll see about copying and pasting some of the writing i did in my earlier and show you how even with fewer words you can bring a character to feel... real.... nah.
Yeah, I am not afraid to write, but I guess you are right about most RP sites not wanting new comers. Well, I have to leave for now. Maybe we'll chat later? P.S. Good writing BTW.
Oh,yeah sure. And most rp sites are built for real writers,like people whp wish to pursue that career. I don't. rolapley is a hobby for me
