    You didn't allow our dog to dress up as a cat. I don't care if he actually belongs to the neighboors, we have a spiritual connection, him and I, and I know he would love to dress up as a cat deep down.

    I was ashamed because I didn't allow "our" dog dress up as a cat. I couldn't look at you eye to eye anymore and left because I couldn't stand what I had done.

    The thing with the dog doesn't matter. I'm just so, so sorry about our cat. How could I do that to her? To us?
    It's just.....if all I can do is hurt you...then maybe we really should get a divorce. I just hope we can remain friends afterwards for the cat's sake.
