a A line skirt is best. or lose fitting slackes or pants. or wear a top or blouse that is longer in the waist and falls to the crock line. a thinner waist and a bagger pair of slacks work better too

    A line dresses are SUPERB.

Avoid thin, airy fabrics. Also, look for weaves over knits. Even the softest of weaves tends to have more shape than any knit material. For a while I had a jersey knit skirt. It was soft but ultimately not worthwhile, because it didn't have nice drape at all. This was terrible enough as a faab individual, but worse if you have to deal with tucking (or can't/don't want to tuck).

Look at the quality of the fabric. Keep your eyes peeled for weaves that are more tightly woven, stiffer and thicker. These naturally have better drape than loose weaves and knits, so your clothing should keep shape better, and hide more. Don't put anything made from t-shirt material on your legs!

As far as pants go, I don't really have personal experience...black or other very dark wash jeans will probably serve you better than lighter washes, because dark colors catch less light and shadow - meaning less obvious signs of there being anything there. Also, the eye tends to linger less on darker colors. You might be able to pull off dark jeans and a looser-fit shirt with a longer hemline, especially if the blouse is lighter in color and maybe patterned - that should lead the eye up, away from where you don't want attention to go! My girlfriend doesn't tuck, and this sort of thing has worked for her in the past.

...Maybe I don't look at men enough but honestly I never truly noticed that bulge. I wonder if they have a sort of bottom binder for amab ladies?

Trade you parts anytime. ^_^ I got stuff to spare.

Honestly, though, tough as it is to be a trans guy, I can't imagine how tough it must be to be a woman. I never knew some guys went the extreme of shaving down their Adam's apple to look more feminine. To me, someone cutting into my throat just sounds wild (somehow, though mastectomy doesn't?)

And sure, hon, you can take my shoes, my skinny jeans, leggings, boots, scarves, etc.

You'd probably be disappointed, to be honest. .__. All my feminine clothing were stuff that were imposed upon me. So it's somewhat ill-fitting and reeks of grandmotherly goodwill.

Speaking of which, Goodwill is your friend for bargains + brand names
