    Never honestly gave it much thought. To be honest I had thought bi = more of a sexual desire where pan = more of a romantic desire.

    I identify as bi instead of pan for these same exact reasons. I also identify as queer.

    I've always taken bi sexual to mean attracted to same gender or different gender so I identify as that.

    Just as a note, my partner is transgender and that still falls in what I said above.
