I'm going to try to stick to some that haven't been mentioned yet. Someone should make a playlist with all the artists on this thread in it!

Julien Baker - soft, acoustic indie with chillingly beautiful vocals.
Courtney Barnett - very interesting songwriter who can turn a subject as simple as buying produce organic or getting a new coffee machine into a profound statement.
Adult Mom - steph knipe is nonbinary and their records often deal with coming out and being nonbinary.
Lowell - great for pop-lovers, take a look at LGBT or Cloud 69
Car Seat Headrest - check out the song It's Only Sex if you're asexual. Twin Fantasy is about a breakup with his boyfriend.
St. Vincent - St Vincent, aka Annie Clark, is pansexual. She also makes amazing music, has a uniquely gorgeous face, and she can really play a guitar.
of Montreal - Kevin Barnes doesn't like labels. he cross-dresses a lot on tour and has some great songs. Check out "Let's Relate", a fun bopper about gender identity.
Beach House - "She's So Lovely". still not sure if Victoria is queer or not, however.
The XX - Two out of three members of The XX are gay. If you like dual vocals, they're the right band for you.

I have too many to name, because I like all the ones I have.

But I'll mention a few memorable ones
Kids on TV(awesome and fun band, I love them a lot)
Troye Sivan(I have to put him here because Heaven and Wild are amazing songs and I would never get tired of them)
Bronski Beat-(a synthpop group with Smalltown Boy(a guy running away from home to go to the city), Need a Man Blues)
Bright Light Bright Light-(a cute Welsh boy who I totally love because he has such catchy music)
Pansy Division-(Memorable because for me they were the first queer band I ever listened to)
Matt Fishel-(so cute and his songs are amazing)

Those are just a few, I like a lot more artists but naming them all would be too much.
